Safety in the car

Car safety is very important as it can lead to less accidents. As a passenger, you have a responsibility to ensure safety for yourself and others. Take note of the following:

ALWAYS

Rule 1. Always wear your seat belt. A seat belt should be on before the car moves, and should stay on until the engine is turned off at your destination.

Rule 2. Always get out of the car on the side by the pavement.

Rule 3. Always ride in the backseat. Kids younger than 12 should always ride in the backseat.

Rule 4. Always remind the driver NOT to talk or text while driving.

Rule 5. Always stay calm and quiet. Try not to argue or cry in the car as it can distract the driver.

NEVER

Rule 1. Never share a seat belt. Two kids should never buckle up as a pair.

Rule 2. Never distract the driver.

Rule 3. Never play or stand in a moving car.
